Flowers have carried symbolic meaning throughout human history, appearing in rituals, mourning traditions, celebrations, medicine, mythology, and folklore. Certain blooms became associated with love, death, protection, memory, fertility, or seasonal change depending on the culture and period. Their lasting presence in both sacred and ordinary spaces reflect humanity’s tendency to attach emotion and meaning to the natural world.
