The Observatory
Every age has looked for answers in the sky, the cards, and the dark of a mirror.
Divination has a longer, stranger history than most of its modern guides admit. Tarot began as a card game in fifteenth-century Italy and didn’t become an oracle until the 1700s. Runes were an alphabet long before they were cast. The Observatory traces each practice and each celestial tradition from its documented beginnings to how it’s used today, so you know which parts are old and which are new.
