Festivals, Events, and Sabbats
The Wheel of the Year turns, and with it, the rhythm of celebration, magic, and connection. From the fires of Beltane to the harvest feasts of Samhain, these sacred festivals invite us to honor nature, the gods, and the cycles that shape our lives. Below you’ll find a quick guide to each High Day, plus a list of upcoming events to keep your calendar enchanted. If you know of a gathering that isn’t listed, whisper it my way on Instagram—bonus points if you bring a link to the details!
The High Days
🌱 Imbolc (February 1–2)
The first whispers of spring! Imbolc honors Brigid, goddess of hearth and inspiration. A time for purification, candlelight, and setting intentions for growth.
🌸 Ostara (Spring Equinox, around March 20)
Day and night dance as equals. Celebrate balance, fertility, and the renewal of life. Think flowers, eggs, and a fresh start for your magical practice.
🔥 Beltane (April 30–May 1)
Passion ignites! Beltane is all about fire, fertility, and joy. Bonfires, maypoles, and love spells take center stage in this sensual sabbat.
☀️ Litha (Summer Solstice, around June 21)
The sun reigns supreme! Litha celebrates abundance, growth, and the peak of power. Gather herbs, light fires, and soak in the magic of the longest day.
🌾 Lammas/Lughnasadh (August 1)
The first harvest rolls in. A time of gratitude, feasting, and honoring the labor of the land. Bake bread, break bread, and savor the season’s gifts.
🍂 Mabon (Autumn Equinox, around September 21)
Balance returns once more as we tip into the dark half of the year. Celebrate the second harvest with gratitude, introspection, and cozy feasts.
🎃 Samhain (October 31–November 1)
The Witch’s New Year. The veil between worlds thins, making this the perfect time for ancestor veneration, divination, and shadow work. Costumes optional but encouraged.
❄️ Yule (Winter Solstice, around December 21)
The longest night births the sun anew. Yule is all about light, hope, and warmth. Deck your altar with evergreens, sip something spiced, and welcome the return of the sun.

Join us for a warm and welcoming Pagan Friendsgiving gathering at The Grove, a time to celebrate the season of harvest, gratitude, and community. Nestled between Samhain🎃 and Yule❄️, and set amidst the crisp autumn air and colorful leaves 🍂🍁, this event honors the spirit of giving, earth-based traditions, and the magic of coming together in fellowship.
We'll begin with a gratitude circle where we can each share what we are thankful for, followed by a potluck feast. We'll provide a couple homemade main dishes and have the coffee ☕️, hot chocolate 🫕, and tea 🫖 bar set up 🙂.
Please bring (those who are able, but not required) a favorite dish inspired by the harvest season or something that represents abundance and comfort to you.
We'll also be hosting a community altar, where you can place items that symbolize your personal blessings, intentions, or ancestors, helping us create a beautiful space filled with collective gratitude and energy.
Throughout the evening, we’ll have fire 🔥 outside to gather around for warmth and storytelling. We'll close with a ritual of thanks, honoring the land and each other, and reflecting on our shared hopes for the winter season ahead.
Additionally, we're sure there will be folks willing to do some reading 🔮, an impromptu drum 🥁 circle is always a possibility, we'll put out some craft supplies 🎨, maybe play a movie 📽 on one of the projectors, and the dragon puzzle 🧩 can always use attention 😁
We’re excited to gather and share this experience with everyone. To help cover basic costs and to plan for how many friends to welcome, this gathering will be donation based with various levels to accommodate everyone in being able to participate and to allow us to give back some to a worthy charity. Your contribution allows us to create a meaningful and accessible event for all, with the spirit of giving back.

Elements of Witchcraft 2024 Class #8: “Magickal Ethics”
Tickets: $25
Have you ever stopped for a moment before lighting that candle or saying that prayer to ask yourself, “is this in my best interest?” Or while gathering ingredients for incense, or pulling tarot cards for guidance, have you asked, “what is the best result for my Highest Self? Or for the others involved?” How about scanning online articles or books and stopping to ask yourself, “what’s all this talk of baneful magick about?” Ever wondered what they mean when they say “An it harm none, do what you Will?”
Congratulations! Like many of us on the path, you’ve dipped your toe into the pool of Wiccan ethics!
In this class we’ll wade in a little deeper together, discuss some of the key principles of ethics as they apply to Wiccan beliefs, and apply them to some everyday scenarios that you may encounter in your practices.
Bring:
Please bring a journal, pen, something to stay hydrated with, and an open mind.
We provide light snacks to share. You are also welcome to bring something to share if you’d like. We also frequently bring our traveling shop of new and gently used items. Cash and PayPal are accepted.
Parking is available in the top and bottom lots next to the building, on a first come, first served basis.
We are sharing the space with other groups this year, and do not want to disturb their classes and events by entering on the left and walking through the big room to our location. Please enter the building on the far-right side, using the walking path around the front of the building, to avoid disturbing our neighbors.
