Cemeteries

Burial grounds and memorial sites associated with reports of apparitions, unexplained sensations, and recurring paranormal encounters.

Introduction

Cemeteries exist as designated places of remembrance.

They mark where lives ended, but they also preserve the act of being remembered itself. Names, dates, and symbols remain long after living memory has faded.

Most cemeteries remain quiet.

But some become associated with reports of movement among the graves, figures seen at a distance, or the sense of presence where none should remain.

These reports often occur at the edges—between paths, near older markers, in places where time has left visible marks on the landscape.

Cemeteries were never meant to be occupied by the living.

Visitors are temporary.

The stones are not.
